A portal has torn open near the town of Forest Vale. Monsters pour forth, terrorizing the innocent. Four heroes have answered the call — each with their own deadly skills, starting decks, and unique abilities.

• Soldier – Hardy and disciplined. Gains one defense when attacking, making him the most reliable frontline slayer.

• Assassin – After striking, Constance may push herself further, sacrificing her own health as extra damage — even at the cost of her life.

• Huntsman – A resourceful tracker. Gains +1 attack for each item he wields (up to two at a time), turning simple gear into deadly combos.

• Edith Beall, the Conjurer – A master of foresight and destructive spells. She may peek at the top of her deck before drawing, and her arcane blasts can strike up to three monsters at once.
